As part of Bethel Austin Church, the founders of City Conservation led teams to deliver food weekly to people in need along South First, South Congress, I35 & Ben White, Riverside and Pleasant Valley.
Teams went out on either Friday or Saturday for more than a year, delivering over 50 tons of resources.
The Austin EAT Initiative was a cooperation between the City of Austin and many non-profit organizations and companies. It is the heart of City Conservation to continue this type of cooperation.
